The Central Carolina School of Preaching is located in Sumter, South Carolina. The school was established in January of 1995 and is under the oversight of the elders at the Kingsbury Road Church of Christ. Bro. Melvin Sapp serves as the director for the school which operates in the facilities of the Kingston Road Church of Christ. They offer a full spectrum of training to men who are willing to dedicate themselves to preaching the New Testament gospel.

The school offers a two year biblically sound preacher training program. Their curriculum has 54 four hour classes that meet Monday thru Thursday. The Portland Church of Christ currently only helps support one man at this time, Kurtis Millu.

The Central Carolina School of Preaching is the most recent school that the Portland Church of Christ has started helping. Although small in numbers the mission committee has been impressed with their desire to grow and teach as many preachers as possible in a section of our country that is really needed and are very happy to be a part of this growing work.
