Beech Island Church of Christ is located in South Carolina on the outskirts of Augusta, Georgia. Bro. Glenn Nichols serves as the pulpit minister there, and has been since 1987. He has been preaching for over 32 years in various youth rallies, gospel meetings, and lectureships all over the country. He also is a licensed psychologist employed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. The church is made up of a diverse group of people who has an average attendance of about 70 people coming from various backgrounds with different stages of spiritual knowledge. The Portland Church of Christ has been supporting this congregation for over twenty years. This is a very small community with lots of needs both spiritual and physical. Beech Island does a very good job of trying to fulfill these needs. They do several outreach programs in spreading the gospel and also have a food room to help meet the needs of the community.
